MEMORY

DEAR PARENTS,

This month your child will build the skill: MEMORY. This skill is very important to teach at an early age for helping your child’s growing brain. Your child’s brain is growing at a rapid pace and there are a lot of neural pathways to create. By participating in age- appropriate activities that build memory, you will notice your child retain information faster and have an increase desire to learn new things, which will also lead to them having more confidence.

Tips:

You can help by fostering memory at home. To help support memory objectives, try the following strategies:

  • Engage your child in a lot of quick quizzes to help improve their short-term member.

  • Spend a lot of time repeating important information to help foster their long- term memory.

  • Play games that challenge your child’s reactive memory, which is the ability to respond quickly.

  • Have your child experiment with things that help improve sensory memory, such as music and tasting new things.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to watching our youthful students build the skill of MEMORY.

    Sincerely,

  • International Master Instructor, Stacy Busby
