Purpose of Training in Tang Soo Do
The purpose of training is to improve the whole person or practitioner. The focus of Tang Soo Do training should be on improving mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. As part of this purpose, our goal is to ultimately improve the quality of the practitioners life and at the same time increase longevity.
1. Self Development – Character development through structured and disciplined training.
2. Better Health – Training helps promote physical, mental and emotional health to lengthen and preserve a good life.
3. Self Defense – Protect ourselves and our loved ones from mental or physical attack through avoidance first and if necessary by using our training responsibly and with a sense of honor.
